In early 2012 I went traveling through Ethiopia.
The fact that it was dry season, kind of ruined my chances for those amazing pictures of lush rain forests and massive waterfalls.
But it did make it much easier to spot birds, ibex, baboons and other wildlife.
Ethiopia is still at the very top of my list of great photo travel destinations. Beautiful colours and friendly people wherever you look and probably the best bird watching imaginable.
