Today I was called out to take some photos of a group of bikers in the Meridien Dahab Resort. As it turned out, it was the prince of Bahrain and his entourage, who were on a humanitarian motorcycle ride around the Middle East, to support and promote the Royal Charity Organisation
I spend the day on the back of a pickup truck photographing the guys riding to the Canyon and Blue Hole dive sites. I even went on the dives with them, to get the money shot of them unfolding the flag of Bahrain under water.
At the end of the day I had earned myself a new nick name, Abdul Latif. I am not sure what to make of it, but they ensured me the name was a great honour.
